Google Update Tracker

When Google rolls out a core or spam update, the question is whether your websites moved more than they usually do. QuickSEO marks Google’s ranking updates on every chart and compares each site’s last 7 days of clicks with its usual weekly swing, so an ordinary week isn’t mistaken for a drop.

How It Works

1

Updates come from Google

QuickSEO reads Google’s Search Status Dashboard every 15 minutes and draws each ranking update on your charts as a shaded band, linked to Google’s own page for it.

2

Every site gets a verdict

Each website’s last 7 days of clicks are compared with its usual week: moved up, moved down, a normal week, or too few clicks to tell.

3

Check all your websites at once

The verdict sits on each site’s card on the all-websites screen, with the update it lined up with, if any.

Why It Matters

Tell a real drop from noise

A site that swings 15% from week to week can dip 10% in an ordinary week. The verdict uses each site’s own swing, so only a move well outside it is flagged.

Check every site after an update

One screen shows which of your websites moved during an update and which didn’t, instead of opening each dashboard in turn.

Timing, honestly

The verdict says a move lined up with an update. It never says the update was the reason: the timing is what Search Console data can show.
